I graduated from art college in the late '80s and pursued a career as a Technical Illustrator, both freelance and commissioned, until the mid '90s when the all-conquering AutoCAD system meant that the only time you used a pen was to fill out your timesheet. I stepped away from the arts entirely until late 2013 when, with some gentle encouragement from those closest to me, the time felt right to begin again. Given my technical background, I have tried to integrate the fine detail of technical work with a new-found love of colour.

I also enjoy photography, as nature provides far more beauty than I could ever hope to.
